Hypocrisy
You know what is hypocrisy?? The following is what I consider as hypocrisy...
- All the so called Women Empowerment Organizations celebrating Woman's Day after they claim that both the genders are equal. This one is real funny. For all the anti-male-chauvinistic women and men around the world.. when you claim that both the genders are equal, then why do you have to indulge so much in celebrating Woman's Day??? I mean, we don't have a Man's Day, do we ??!!! Then why this discrimination ???
- Till the boy and girl get married, they are mandated by the parents from both sides to not get physical although they are engaged and are experiencing courtship period. And the moment they get married, the entire clan from both sides get together and make sure that the boy and girl make it out that night itself with a lot of show off. Now you have to help me understand this. The way a marriage is perceived by me is... its like growing a tree. If its a case of a love marriage, then you are planting a sapling. If its a case of an arranged marriage, then you are sowing seeds. There is absolutely no guarantee in either case that they will succeed without proper care. The reason love marriage is compared to a sapling is that the couple has known each other for a while, so much so that they have connected at an emotional level. This level of intimacy will take time to happen in an arranged marriage. And if people believe that this intimacy will happen because of sex, then... sorry, doesn't sound convincing at all. Intimacy will happen because the couple gets to know each other by spending time with each other - intimate or otherwise. Please don't burden them with useless expectations.
- A wife (girlfriend)/husband (boyfriend) says to her/his spouse(partner)... "We don't spend much time in the bed... I think you don't love me" !!!! This one is an absolute clincher. I can understand if a guy or a gal says... "I am horny, let's have sex"... I am totally in agreement with that opinion. I know that lot of people consider sex as a biological and physiological need and you have complete right to express that desire with your partner. But if you say... "I want love, let's have sex".... then am stumped... Since when did having sex become the testimony of existence of love???
I'm sure lot of you have some similar thoughts about the hypocrisies that exist in this world. And needless to say, you are welcome to add to this list...
