It's true... its really really dark just before the dawn. Today, I had to wake up very early to go to the station to receive my dad and aunt coming from Bangalore. It must have been around 5 AM or something and all the roads were really pitch dark. Then I realized something - the street lights are not glowing either. This instantly reminded me of something. I had read in one of the reports published in the newspapers that majority of the accidents happen just before dawn break. Which is fair enough, innit? If you are not going to have sufficient lighting at that time of the night, you should actually expect the accidents to happen. I had a tough time driving today to the station. Even though the traffic wasn't heavy, I could not dare cross 30 kmph, it was that bad! I had to constantly "blink" and "look" so as to avoid the high beams of the on coming vehicles. Now I understand why so many accidents happen at that time of the night....
