I guess the above phrase best describes what India did last night at the 4th league match of the Indian Oil Cup in Dumbulla, Srilanka. Having SL on the mat with 96 for 6, anyone would have hoped for a victory but it was not to be. Some of the things which probably did not work for India were...

• Bhajji not being effective for a change
• Laxman could have been sacrificed for a specialist bowler ??
• Ganguly taking 110 balls for scoring 51 !!! Gosh... that was heights !!
• Balaji takes wickets only at the beginning of the innings ?? Why ??
• Kumble in the place of Laxman?
• A lot has been spoken of Suresh Raina being an all-rounder. Doesn't that include some bowling also ? All we have seen so far is 3 good run-outs. Oh, is that what you mean by an all-rounder??

As usual, I am just opinionating... and I have a legitimate right (or maybe even a left) to do so.
